After You Have a Root Canal

1. You will probably have discomfort for 24-48 hours after treatment.
2. Please take all prescribed antibiotics and pain meds if needed.
3. Do not eat any sticky foods as that will dislodge the temporary filling.
4. You may have a different taste in your mouth (not bad, just different) as the temporary filling is made from cloves.
5. Call our office ASAP if your temporary filling comes out. It is important we place another temporary filling quickly in order to keep the area from getting infected.
